Eagle Ford Shale (4200 ft TVD)
- Up to 20 horizontal locations @ 130 acre spacing (based on analog EOG Energy spacing)
- 4 million barrels oil resource potential according to RPS Group
San Miguel Sands (2300 ft TVD)
Eagleford Energy is working to acquire 2,637 acres in northeast Zavala County, Texas known as the Murphy Lease. The acreage is located in the Maverick Basin down-dip from the northern boundary of the Smackover-Austin-Eagle Ford total petroleum system.
The Company intends to develop multiple formations on the Murphy Lease. The area features oil and gas production from the San Miguel Sands including 900 million cubic feet produced in the same formation one mile south on a Serpentine Plug. The objective for the Murphy Lease is production of conventional oil or gas from the San Miguel Sands at approximately 2300 feet.
Eagleford Energy expects to encounter blanket Eagle Ford Shale across the Murphy lease at 4200 feet and intends to produce light sweet crude oil with horizontal drilling and fracturing.
Additional targets include the Anacacho, Serpentine, Austin Chalk, Buda, Georgetown and Pearsall formations.
The EOR Technical and Economic Assessment prepared by RPS Group asserts Eagleford Energy’s Murphy Lease property has an Eagle Ford Shale oil resource potential of 4 million barrels based on reported parameters from EOG (130 acre spacing unit) and Petrohawk (200,000 barrel oil recovery per well).
Development Strategy
- Drill one horizontal test well to the Eagle Ford Shale on Matthews Lease
- Drill one vertical test well through the Eagle Ford Shale on Murphy Lease
- Log, core, analyze and compare petrophysical data
- Roll out multi-well exploitation program
